What better way to capture the special moments of your day than with a painting created "LIVE" as the moments take place. It creates a memorable and unique experience for the people attending the wedding. It also provides entertainment for those who may not particularly enjoy the dance floor.
I paint in oils which gives a rich luxurious feel to the painting that acrylics just can't give.
WHAT DOES THE SET-UP LOOK LIKE?
The set-up is quick and simple. Typically, I bring a professional portable easel to the wedding reception (or ceremony). It's very contained. I never want to be an eyesore, therefore I take precautions to ensure my materials do not clash with the wedding atmosphere or decorations. I also dress according to the color, theme & style of the wedding the Bride & Groom have chosen for their wedding.

HOW DOES THE ARTWORK ENHANCE A FAMILY’S MEMORIES
OF THE WEDDING DAY?
Capture the passion and dramatic emotion of the atmosphere from a unique perspective, specific to the bride and groom’s wedding. A painting captures a feeling, a moment and draws the observers into the emotion of the memory. The paintings usually consist of the bride and groom together, captured in an ethereal setting, without guests or with a subtle few, to symbolize the unifying of their lives together.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Prior to the wedding day, I will give the client an opportunity to let me know any specific preferences they may have for the painting – they have the choice of having the reception or ceremony painted. I can paint your special day indoors, outdoors or at night. I'll capture the atmosphere of all your memories of the Great Day.
On the wedding day:
If I'm painting the Reception, I will arrive about an hour or so early to set up my easel and paints and begin laying out a loose composition before guests arrive.
If I'm painting the Ceremony, I will arrive 2-3 hours before to get started on the layout of the painting before guests arrive, due to the short timeframe of the ceremony. As guests arrive, I will begin developing more detail of the entire atmosphere from guests, tables, and chairs, chandeliers etc.
Of course, every painting is different, achieved in response to the atmosphere & special requests of the Bride & Groom. Some may want more of the detail of the dress while some may want more of the friends and family to be included.
My style is very impressionistic, created with a loose hand and beautiful brushstrokes – an expression of the event that is and enhanced more than a realistic rendering.
The whole process takes around 4-5 hours. The bride and groom will receive one large painting incorporating a reflection of the entire wedding atmosphere.

Gold Package
From $3,500 for:
1 Oil painting 18"x24" (or larger) Live at the Wedding/Event
1 Gicleé Print the size of the painting or smaller
50 Thank You Cards with the image printed on them
Platinum Package
From $5,000 for:
1 Oil Painting 18"x24" (or larger) Live at the Wedding/Event
1 Oil Painting 16"x20" (or larger) Studio Painting (Usually of the Bride & Groom)
1 Gicleé Print the size of the painting or smaller
50 Thank You Cards with the image printed on them
Custom Packages

We'll book an appointment to talk about what you have in mind but typically the painting is of the Bride in her dress. And the size of the painting would be in the neighborhood 48"x60" or 36"x72".
We would schedule a photo shoot. This painting would be painted in the studio from the photos taken at the photo shoot.

To Reserve your date a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required and balance to be paid in full 30 days prior to Event.

Prices above don't include travel if over 80 miles from my location.
If travel is involved, expenses will also include flight/mileage, transportation, lodging, and meals.
